We Are The Rescued

*Updated March 9, 2013*

Just want to take a moment to praise God for all He is doing within the church. He is making His desires our own and placing orphans in families.

Around 10 months ago, I took this photo of all the families in our church who were in the process to adopt.........

Since then, 6 of those families have brought their children home!!!

The Borders Family

The Brannin Family

The Graham Family

The Jochim Family

The McDonald Family

The Harston Family

And, 2 are praying that they can bring their girls home very, very soon.....
(Will you please join us in praying?)

The Gant Family

The Mattingly Family

Another precious family brought home a baby girl and just finalized her adoption......

The Cassetty Family

And, another family who has previously adopted is seeking to add #3 and #4, as they transition from foster to adopt.

In order to protect their privacy at this time, we'll call them
The "L" Family

And, yet another family just announced that they have begun the adoption process.......   :)

The Richey Family

And, THAT is just within the church we attend!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three other families we love have recently answered the call to care for orphans as well......

The "H" Family

This family has one adopted son, has moved from foster to adopt with another, and is fostering yet another.

The Bailey Family

The Sharp Family

God is doing great things! Please join us in prayer as we seek to follow Him wherever He leads.

Mommy's Heart Went Pop

I cannot watch this without crying. Trust me, I've tried. So perfect. Just watch. This is my heart......

For His Glory,

We're Back! :)

Wow. I cannot believe it's been 6 months since my last post!!! First of all, my apologies for going silent with no explanation. Realistically, I'm going to say I probably won't be a consistent blogger. However, I DO plan to post more often than every 6 months. Lol. So, I'm back. The past few months have been somewhat of a whirlwind, but a good one. The primary reason for our slowdown in the adoption process was the fact that I needed a permanent job before we could proceed. After graduating last May, I worked a few PRN jobs, but nothing on-going. November through January, I was working nearly every day, but still only temporary jobs. But then, at the end of January, one of those wonderful offices asked me to stay! I am so blessed to be a part of the Briarwood Dental team, and am praising God for His perfect timing and provision. That being said, we are ready to get rolling again and are SO excited! Please pray for us as we begin applying for grants, and watch for some exciting new fundraisers.   :)

For His Glory,
