Questions & Answers

1.  From where do you plan to adopt?

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (aka "DR Congo", aka "DRC").
This country was formerly known as Zaire.

2.  Why DR Congo?

There are so many things I could say, but instead, I encourage you to read a blog post written by
Megan Terry, a mother whose son is from the DR Congo.  She wrote this post in 2010, just after
bringing her son home.  To read, please click on the link below:

3.  Are you adopting a boy or a girl?

We will most likely request a boy when the time comes.  However, we are open to sibling groups.
     So, maybe both! :)

4.  What age will the child be?

We have indicated that we are willing to accept a referral of a child (or sibling group) between birth
and 7 years old.  Though we realize adopting an older child can present unique challenges, there is
a huge need to find families for older children, and we believe God is asking us to be willing in this
area.  We will leave it up to Him and trust that He will work out the details.

5.  Aren't international adoptions expensive?  How will you fund the adoption?

Yes, they are.  We certainly don't have the financial means on our own.  However, we believe
that God will provide if this is, indeed, His plan for our family.  Grants and fundraisers will be our
      primary means of obtaining funds.

tab to browse through her creations!  :)

*You can also click on the "Fundraising" tab to see what fundraisers we currently have going on.

*Or, you can click on the "Donate" tab to submit a donation through PayPal.  (I hesitated to even
put that on here, but some people have asked about it, so there ya go. :)

Thanks so much for your support!
